A Thanksgiving Hymn

Submitted by Sam White on Wed, 11/25/2009 - 15:45.

Rudolph the red-beaked turkey
Had a very shiny beak
And if you ever rubbed it
You could even hear it squeak
All of the other turkeys
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Play in any turkey games
Then one cold November eve
The farmer came to say
"Rudolph with your beak so bright
Guess you'll be my meal tonight"
Then how the turkeys loved him
And they shouted out with glee
"Rudolph the red-beaked turkey
We're so glad it's you not me!"
